Gustafson Excavating was founded by Denny and Kevin Gustafson with a shared vision, strong work ethic, and a commitment to doing things the right way. With Kevin’s early experience in pipe and excavation and Denny’s background in trucking and heavy equipment operation, the company began with a small fleet and a big reputation for dependable work.

Today, Gustafson Excavating is proudly operated by Kevin alongside his son and two daughters. With over 60 employees serving the Twin Cities and North Metro, we specialize in grading, site utilities, and demolition for projects ranging from apartments and residential subdivisions to restaurants, gas stations, septic installs, and more.
